The Tri-Shield has been produced to make your life easier not only
through everyday use with your horse but also its care, cleaning
and storage.
The following methods should be employed to ensure you keep your
Tri-Shield in tiptop condition.
Cleaning
Both the Tartan Universal layer and the Stable Rug can be washed
normally. We recommend a non-biological powder or mild soap intended
for delicates and wash as synthetics at 40 or below. The Stable
rug should also have a little or no spin involved and allowed to
drip dry. We recommend that the outdoor rug is washed down using
warm water and a light soap solution or the Nikwax Rug Wash and
treated using the TX Direct spary afterwards 'Nikwax',
this should maximise the coatings used on the fabrics and will reduce
deterioration of the fabric.
Storage We
feel that the Tri-Shield takes the current rug market to another
level, and as such we transport the rug system to you in its very
own high quality robust storage box. This should be used to store
any of the components not in use (please make sure when storing
a rug it is clean and dry). The box can also be used in and around
the stable yard and whilst travelling as a useful trunk.
